Legislation on batteries
The watches we supply come with standard or rechargeable batteries which serve to operate the watches. The German legislation on batteries obligates us to draw your attention to the following: Please dispose of old batteries as prescribed by law.
Disposal thereof in household waste is strictly forbidden.
You can dispose of standard and rechargeable batteries at municipal collection points or in corresponding retail businesses free of charge. Standard or rechargeable batteries containing pollutants/harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out waste bin like the symbol shown here. Near the waste-bin symbol you will find the chemical designation of the pollutant/harmful substance in question:
"CD" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead and "Hg" for mercury
